A beautifully laid out site with each roadway with a decorative tile naming it after a beach. We were told the pool was cold, but we used the sun lounging area around it. We tried to walk to the beach but couldn\'t find our way down the network of rough paths (I had a stitched up knee). Los Escullos is a fascinating beach although it was very windy when we visited, it is quite coarse sand. Helpful staff.

I really liked this site. I didn’t think it was scruffy like some people said. The pitches are quite big, the facilities numerous and clean, the bar is great, the pool wonderful and the staff are friendly. The only negatives are the teenagers but then don’t pitch near the tents! And if you choose your pitch carefully there are views. The shop could be better - no milk and poor quality fruit and vegetables. But at least it had a shop! Good croissants in the morning. We came for two days and stayed four. Would return.

If you are a dog lover then this is the site for you, as every other person seems to have a dog (some dogs & owners better behaved than others). The site it’s self is in a lovely location, about a mile from the coast. There are good walking & cycling opportunities around. There is a very active social scene on site which is great, also helped by happy hour every night between 6-7pm. The pitches have 20 amp electric & most are a good size. Showers & toilets are good, but could do with a bit of updating. The problem in January was that many pitches are covered with green plastic, which limits the amount of sun.

The area is stunning; amazing rugged coastline and coves to visit with plenty of walking and off-road biking. Road cycling a bit limited but worth it for a short stay. Campsite a bit disappointing considering reviews: lacked atmosphere, a bit scruffy for its category, on site but particukarlh the immediate surroundings, and very noisy at weekends due to the permanent enclave of spanish. Pitch on the right side to minimise the impact. Staff are amazing; faultless, good bar and restaurant. Wifi is free and outstanding - streamed Netflix, no problem. This could be a real gem given the area with some investment and attention to detail, but consider it more like a Cat 2 but worth the Acsi price due to free wifi and unlimited 20A electric if you need it.

Ended up staying for 7 nights as we liked it so much, this also ended in getting a night for free. Decent pitches of various sizes seperated by partial hedging. Water,electric and waste on each pitch. Toilet and washing up facilties nothing special but ok. Staff friendly. Nice bar and restaurant, ate there twice and food was good. Happy hour between 6pm-7pm. Great area for hiking and cycling, stunning scenery with some lovely villages nearby. If you want lots of restaurants and shops on your doorstep with a long promenade this place may not be for you, but if you want the outdoors with a stunning location its great.

Excellent campsite, no negative points at all, pool great, pitches large, bar area and shop, excellent, views beautiful, we will definitely return when in the area.

Outwardly appears a pleasant site, large pitches mostly covered with cloth sunshades, gravel pitches, water on each pitch, BUT DONT DRINK IT.
A few other \'Potable\' sources around the site to use.
Sanitary block, clean and tidy, a large block, one for the whole site.
If you thought you might sleep her, sadly No, it is infested with large numbers of schoolchildren, the noise till late at night was excessive in the re are no views, in any direction from any of the pitches, it’s quite claustrophobic,
Getting to the site, is somewhat like driving across a very large tip, the motorway down to the area was more of interest.
Cycle paths, are obviously intended for rugged mountain bikes, don’t bother with normal road bikes.
There is little to recommend this site, we planned to stay longer, we couldn’t put up with the noisy children, up till late at night, we; like several other campers, left the site feeling very disappointed.
WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Lovely campsite. After passing acres of plastic Cabo de Gato is an oasis. There is a walk to a beach from the site We walked to San Jose on a marked route over cliffs. It was quite strenuous and some scrabbling in parts. But beautiful views
when we got to the site and the pool was fantastic, however come the weekend it was overrun with youngsters. There was a school trip I think and they had a buffet in the restaurant for their meals which meant the service not very good. The menu Del dia was nothing better than ordinary.
Sanitary facilities were fantastic,cleaned regularly
