Don’t EVER bother with this site. Was told they don’t take bookings - you just have to turn up. When about an hour away, I rang & was told just come, we have spots! When I arrived, was met big sour-faced woman turning me away. ‘We are full, monsieur!’ But I just rang - and was told to come! ‘Only people who have booked can come in’ But you told me ALSO you don’t take bookings! They seem to trade off the fact that they get plenty of custom cos of location. Tell everyone to come, then turn away the rest, however far they have traveled on a ‘promise‘. The very nadir of French insouciance! Don’t bother.

Tried to book in here twice in Sept and Oct 2021 but was told this was not possible. I was requested to turn up at 11am and if there was a vacancy from the night before I could check it out, and if none were available, would go off with my caravan and come back the next day. They can obviously behave like this as they have plenty of takers attracted by the 5 star rating, which they certainly did not get for customer service. There are plenty of nice ACSI sites around Argeles. Have a look before trying to get in here.

Very disappointed . Some pitches looked lovely with sea views, others were cramped. in fact some were down dusty roads where you had to reverse in. No room to put awning up. Poorly lit. needed a torch to get to toilet block. No facilities for putting water into motor home near by, had to walk with watering can! Can apparently fill up at entrance but not told that on arrival . Would have been awful if a lot of people were arriving at same time . If filling up when leaving have to pay. Toilet block had sign up only luke warm water use another block! Very old and shabby toilet blocks. Had to walk a long distance to dispose of rubbish near entrance .There ACIS charge was higher than some sights with much better facilities . Only good point scenic long walk to Coullioure. Beach is also quite a long walk. Such a shame with some money spent on it could be a lovely site with some pitches being large and have lovely views . Think they have tried to squeeze too many on with some pitches along roads which have inadequate space . Seem to pay the same ACIS price whether you have a good or bad pitch. Would recommend for walk to Coullioure [as long as you are fit and mobile ] , but would not stay again unless improvements were made to shower blocks, water access and disposing of rubbish .

The pitches we were offered on this terraced site were cramped, with poor access. there were no water points nearby so one had to climb steep steps to the sanitaires; not ideal.

Pitches with a sea view were better but very open and units were packed in.

Just be aware that the mid June period is, for some reason, not in the ACSI period. We were not made aware of this by staff when we requested a pitch for a week on ACSI and we didn\'t realise at first.. We subsequently didn\'t stay for our intended period, it could have been a costly mistake.

For us, this site lacks a certain charm. the main thing it had going for it is proximity to Collioure, which is lovely.

We won\'t be returning.

Que dire de ce camping: un site magnifique les criques de Collioure, bien paysager très propre et bien entretenu. Par contre les sanitaires pas digne d\'un 5 étoiles, robinets presto qui vous donnent trois gouttes et s\'arrêtent, des douches qui passent du froid, brûlant, tiède. Sur les emplacements les rallonges électrique doivent mesurer plus de 25 m. Aucun point d\'eau à part au sanitaire et encore avec des presto qu\'il faut maintenir en permanence. Aucun commentaire sur la piscine ni les équipements sportifs que nous n\'avons pas pratiqué.

I don’t understand why this site is so highly rated. The location is nice enough, but pitches on the coastal side are cramped with little privacy or shade. Access to many of the pitches is tight and on some using an awning would be impossible. The pebble beach is virtually non-existent at high tide. When we stayed in mid June, I was expecting the ACSI rate, but they were charging a lot more! I wish I’d read the small print about validity dates and gone somewhere else from the outset. Food in the restaurant and items in the shop were similarly expensive. Wifi available but an extra cost a day! Showers were variable, some ok ones and others offering a tepid dribble at best. Rubbish bins are few and far between, and recycling requires a long hike to the front gate. The swimming pool is nice but tiny given the numbers of people on site including lots of bungalows. The motor point is awkward to use, particularly if the car park is full and others are waiting. We were planning a longer stay, but instead stayed just long enough to visit Collioure (a delightful place reached by the coastal path - tricky in places) and moved on. I wouldn’t pay a premium to stay here, it’s not that special.

Ontzettend mooi gelegen camping aan zee. De helft van de plekken heeft zeezicht. Mooi verzorgde perken.
Perfecte camping om Collioure te bezoeken. Ik vind dat echt een van de allermooiste plaatsjes van heel Frankrijk! Sfeervol, oud, terrasjes, stranden, galeries en het grote kasteel. Je moet er wat voor over hebben als je met de fiets gaat, want de weg is erg steil, maar \'t is \'t zeker waard. Mooie bestemming onderweg naar Catalonie / Spanje. Het zwembad is flink verwarmd, leuk voor kinderen met aparte glijbanen. Maar wat weinig ruimte om baantjes te zwemmen. Relaxt bubbelbadje. En ligbedden met kussens en olijfboompjes voor de schaduw. De wasgelegenheid wordt voor \'t seizoen van 2022 vernieuwd. Dat is hard nodig.

I turned up without a reservation and was delighted they had vacancies and I could use my Acsi card. I was shown 3 pitches and chose the least worst which wasn’t too far from a facility block gave me a sea glimpse. I couldn’t put up my awning as this would have blocked in my neighbours. The ground was really dusty so everything got coated. This was made worse by it being windy and really not comfortable to sit outside. I stayed one night which gave me time to enjoy the amazing coastal path to Collioures. I was then glad to leave.

Eher mäßig... Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hatten wir uns den Platz etwas anders vorgestellt. Gleich in der ersten Nacht hatten wir das Pech, dass im platzzugehörigen Restaurant eine Hochzeitsfeier stattfand, die uns bis morgens um 02.00 Uhr mit lauter Musik wachhielt. Wir erhielten aufgrund der Acsi-Vergünstigung ausschließlich Plätze im hinteren Campingplatzbereich angeboten (Es waren noch genügend Plätze zum Wasser hin frei). Die Trinkwasserversorgung zur Wasserentnahme ist an vereinzelten zentralen Punkten und nicht in direkter Stellplatznähe. Der Platz wird sehr sauber gehalten und das Personal ist ständig am Fegen und Unkraut od. Blätter einsammeln. Die Duschen sind furchtbar. Die Temperatur lässt sich nicht regulieren. Es gibt nur einen Drücker, damit das Wasser fließt. Wenn man die ersten 3 Male drückt, kommt das Wasser zu heiß aus dem Duschkopf und danach nur noch lau und zu kalt für mich. Beim Abwasch lässt sich die Temperatur regulieren. Die Stellplätze sind teilweise etwas eng, aber man bekommt immer ein paar zur Auswahl. Wir würden diesen Platz leider nicht noch einmal besuchen und hätten von einem 5 Sterneplatz besseres erwartet.

ligging en uitzicht prima, plekken met cc erg klein geen mogelijkheid de luifel uit te zetten, en als er een camper langs moet naar of van zijn plaats, past er geen persoon tussen. Vermeld mag worden dat de camping ongeschikt is voor personen die slecht ter been zijn, en één van de strandjes willen bezoeken, gezien de steile lange trappen. Water bijvullen doe je het beste op je standplaats, gratis, want op de camper service plaats bij de receptie moet je een Jetton kopen om water te tanken.
